8h 30mins Coolz, this is the biggest project I ever done for myself. A time span of over 8hours! Phewz! Well, somuch time was spent on this project and I’m glad that I can still finish it in about a week’s time. Why I choose 2NE1? It’s just because one of my friend says that they’re coming to Singapore, why not take them into my series of painting this time? So I started to search for reference pics while I’m still doing the Boltz and Penny project the previously. Well, if you think that I’ve forgotten all your request, you’re wrong! It’s just that I take my personal goals as priorities. If it’s on commission basis, then it’s a different story. 2NE1, could be pronounced as “Twenty-One,” is a very different pop group. To be honest, it’s not their songs that draw me to them, it’s their MV videos that really really opened my eyes. I love their MVs! After watching a few of them, I really got the motivation to draw them, and I listen to their songs while painting this artwork. Up till now, Corel Painter 12 doesn’t give me much of a problem. I don’t use all of their brushes or turn on all of the brush featues. What I need is just efficient and realistic brush that’s all. Recently I’ve manage to narrow down my brushes from 2 to become only 1. Yes, I only use one Digital Airbrush for the entire artwork. I feel that this should further improve my efficiency than switching brushes. Choosing colours is not a problem as I have a colour pick menu to the right side of my screen. (You …
